We're Almost There, Kids...

This is the scene from the Warsaw Jewish cemetary...
The statue is of one Janusz Korczak, famous school-master and educational authority.
When Korczak's students (who were Jewish) were sent to the death camps he chose to go with them, though he was not Jewish, thus forsaking his life for the sake of the children's last moments.
Korczak is mostly known for the respect he showed towards children of all age and status ("When I approach a child, I have two feelings. Affection for what he is today and respect for what he can become").
And of course, not much needs to be said about the symbol standing just behind Korczak, beyond the walls of the cemetary...

The composition on the photo arrived quite by mistake, yet... It seems to be just right...
